You’re probably thinking, how can a book for an 11-year-old apply to a girl who is 17 years-old, right?

Has your daughter ever said (through sighs and tears) that another girl ruined her day? If your daughter is anything like the ones I’ve worked with over the years, the reason for the ruination could be:
“She didn’t talk to me because I’m not pretty enough and she said I don’t look like the other girls.”
“I couldn’t sit with them because she told them I have an awkward shape.”
“She told the team that if I make it, it’s only because the coach feels sorry for me.”

How do you rejoice with others if you’re still waiting on your “reason” for rejoicing?
Have you ever found yourself surrounded by people who seem to all be receiving the answers to their prayers or being granted whatever they’ve been waiting on or hoping for? Meanwhile, YOU are still waiting on YOUR good thing.
How do you respond to this with happiness? Especially when you’re like “HEY, can I get a breakthrough?”

They are first cousins to one another and 3 months apart. It was fantastic because not…
