Happy Marvelous Monday!
I know we connected with you Thursday but, we wanted to send a quick update.
As you know, registration for the Marvelous Girls’ Summit has officially been open for ONE WEEK.
And in that week, registration for the Marvelous Girls’ Summit has already reached nearly half of the capacity of last year’s summit! In ONE WEEK (insert screech)!
It’s so exciting to see folks already enthusiastic about the one day summit where girls come together from different backgrounds, experiences, and communities to connect in small groups over the one thing we have in common: BEING A MARVELOUS GIRL!
And while we had a great start in our first week of registration, I also know that there is a LOT going on and perhaps maybe, just maybe, there were some other things that took precedence.
With that in mind, we have decided to extend early registration to this Friday, September 15.
It is important the middle school girl in your life attends this summit.
One of the reasons the Marvelous Girls’ Summit is so important is because seven in ten girls believe they are not good enough or do not measure up in some way – including their looks, performance in school, and relationships with friends and family members.
We have to help girls know that a bad day, a disappointing grade, or even a pimple, doesn’t mean they are not good enough.
So, if you know a girl, 6th-8th grade, she needs to attend the Marvelous Girls’ Summit. Let’s partner in reminding her of how marvelous she really is.
For those of you already registered, you’re in for a treat!
And for those who are returning for the second year, we look forward to seeing you again and you already know this is a marvelous day!
